Privacy

Short version: we ask for an email so we can send you a receipt, and we do not track you. There are no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts on this site.

What we collect

Your email address, when you claim a block. We use it to send your receipt and to contact you about your claim. It is never shown on the site and we do not sell it or share it for marketing.

What you put on your block — its name, link, logo, size and what you paid. All of that is public. That is the product.

A click count per block, so advertisers can see whether their spot works. It is a single number that goes up. We do not record who clicked, or when, or from where.

Payment details

Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep the Stripe session reference so we can match a payment to a block. Stripe processes that data under its own privacy policy.

IP addresses

Your IP address is used, in memory only, to rate-limit uploads and checkout attempts so nobody can hammer the site. It is not written to the database and does not survive a restart.

Cookies and tracking

We set none. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session cookies, nothing in local storage. If you follow a link to an advertiser we send the normal referrer header, so they can see the visit came from here — that is part of what they paid for. What they do on their own site is covered by their privacy policy, not ours.

How long we keep it

Your block's public details stay up for as long as the site does. Your email is kept while your block is live, so we can reach you about it. Ask us to delete it and we will, though we may need to keep a record of the transaction itself for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@claimmars.lol and we will deal with it. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.

Children

This is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly take payment from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
